Le collectif Bitchcraft a pour but de se réapproprier les scènes dites «dark», «extrêmes» ou «alternatives» via l’organisation d’événements pluridisciplinaires où la présence politique et artistique des hommes hétéronomés sera mise au placard, dans le but de mettre en valeur les expressions et créations des meufs et des personnes queer, généralement sous représentées dans ces milieux.

Bitchcraft se veut un collectif de récréation et de réflexion autour de valeurs communes :

* Le féminisme, la fluidité des genres, le non-jugement de valeur d’une personne selon des critères physiques ou mentaux.

* Une vision anarcha-queer dans l’approche politique et artistique.

* Un positionnement pro-sexe et intersectionnel.

* L’antispécisme.

* La démarche D.I.Y. et alternative apparaît à tous les niveaux.
Elle s’accompagne d’une vision anti-capitaliste et d’une accessibilité financière (ex : prix libre)

* L’ouverture et l’accès à tou.te.s, dans la mesure du respect des conditions posées par le collectif.

* La «transversalité», ne pas se limiter à l’organisation de fêtes mais promouvoir de manière horizontale diverses expressions artistiques: concerts, expositions, performances, installations, lectures, projections, discussions…

* Nous invitons les artistes à l’échange dans le respect de nos valeurs et dynamiques communes.
La création croisée permet d’explorer nos univers respectifs et de profiter des rencontres pour mener des réflexions ou aboutir à de nouvelles œuvres.

Bitchcraft souhaite également matérialiser ses idées et mettre en valeur les artistes qu’elle représente, à travers la création – D.I.Y. – de supports physiques variés (ex : compilations, affiches,fanzines…)

Bitchcraft neemt de podia over van “extreme”, “donkere” en “alternatieve” scenes door het organiseren van multidisciplinaire evenementen, waarin de typische hetero- en cisnormatieve artistieke en politieke ideologieën die deze scenes domineren “in de kast” geduwd worden om zo de vaak ondergerepresenteerde feministische en queer scenes in de schijnwerpers te zetten.

Bitchcraft is een speels en nadenkend collectief dat zich baseert op enkele gedeelde waarden :

* De omhelzing van feminisme en genderfluiditeit; het verwerpen van waardeoordelen gebaseerd op iemand’s fysieke of mentale kenmerken.

* Een anarcho-queer aanpak van politiek en kunst.

* Een pro-sex en intersectionele positionering.

* De antispeciësisme.

* Een D.I.Y en alternatieve aanpak op elk niveau, samen met een antikapitalistische visie en cruciale rol voor financiële toegankelijkheid (ie : geef-wat-je-kan)

* Openheid en toegankelijkheid voor iedereen die zich houdt aan de gedeelde waarden van het collectief.

* Een horizontale organisatiestructuur, niet beperkt tot het houden van feestjes, maar die de promotie van veel verschillende kunstvormen op gelijke voet plaatst (concerten, tentoonstellingen, performances, installaties, lezingen, filmvertoningen, discussies…)

* We nodigen deelnemende kunstenaars uit om in dialoog te gaan met elkaar in een sfeer van respect voor onze gedeelde waarden. Co-creatie laat ieder van ons onze respectievelijke universums ontdekken; zulke gedeelde momenten kunnen leiden tot de exploratie van nieuwe concepten of de creatie van nieuwe kunstwerken.

Bitchcraft hoopt om een spoor na te laten—dat ook de artiesten in de schijnwerpers zet – door de D.I.Y. creatie van multiplex (compilaties, platen, zines, posters…)

Bitchcraft proposes to stage takeovers of «extreme», «dark» and «alternative» scenes by organizing multidisciplinary events, where in the typically hetero- and cis- normative artistic and political ideologies underpinning these scenes are pushed “into the closet” in order to shed light on the often under-represented feminist and queer scenes.

Bitchcraft is a playful and thoughtful collective organized around shared values :

* An embrace of feminism and gender fluidity; the rejection of value-judgements based on a person’s physical or mental attributes.

* An anarcho-queer approach to politics and the arts.

* A pro-sex and intersectional positioning.

* The antispeciesism.

* A D.I.Y. and alternative approach at every level, accompanied by anti-capitalist politics and a commitment to financial accessibility (i.e. : pay-what-you-can)

* Openness and accessibility to all who agree to abide by the shared values of the collective.

* A horizontal organizational structure, not be limited to throwing parties, but which also includes the promotion of many different artistic forms on an equal footing (concerts, exhibitions, performances, installations, readings, screenings, discussions…)

* We invite the participating artists to engage in dialogue with one another in an atmosphere of respect for our shared values. Co-creation allows each of us to explore our respective universes; such shared moments can lead to the exploration of new concepts or the creation of new works of art.

Bitchcraft hopes to leave a physical trace– which will also serve to highlight the artists with whom we work– through the D.I.Y. creation of multiples (compilations, records, zones, posters…)
